Remember 2019? The economy was growing, business was running great. The sky was the limit. Global IT spending growth was almost 3.9%. Plans and budgets for 2020 were made and the outlook was positive. Until Corona arrived and changed the world.

First came the shock, the fear and the grief. Then came the realization that our world will never be the same.

Within 100 days the Coronavirus felled the global economy. Many businesses suffer greatly, business managers seek answers to questions like: “How do we survive this crisis? Where can I cut costs? How can we keep the lights on with the same shoestring?”

This New Zealand based public health organization, which operates three hospitals, employs over 6000 people, and provides a wide range of specialist care services toa population of around 1.000.000 people.

There’s no doubt the world is now quite entrenched in new ways of working and living, and there’s a lot of news and social media out there about the challenges now, and ahead. Messages that won’t go away for a while, many of which are worth hearing. But it can be a little overwhelming at times. So we hope you’re able to take moments to see the lighter side of life (and news) too – it’s always there, if you’re open to it.

The company is a global provider of financial planning, insurance, investments, wealth management and banking. They have a total of 25 offices at different locations across the USA and EMEA.

For this Telecommunications Service Provider, speed and accuracy are critical to ensure their clients can offer 24/7 service to their customers. So rapid service delivery is key, but not always achieved with their former supplier, which took over 6 weeks to deliver the required IT equipment.

Timing is key for a contracted systems integrator for a major international US bank, this company installs IT systems for their client’s ATM machines and other electronic payment services, including bank statement printers, self-service terminals, cash register systems and networks.

In light of unprecedented events, we’re all aware that work really isn’t business as usual around many parts of the world right now. Across the globe, large corporations are putting health and safety first, taking necessary precautions, and asking staff and teams to work from home. There are also widespread travel bans in place for employees.

A large French National organization with education bodies throughout France, ranging from vocational education institutes to high schools (public and private) faced the challenge to annually provide over 35.000 IT students across the country with so-called CCNA bundles while staying within budget and meeting their sustainability objectives at the same time.

Your strategy versus the OEM's
